My name is DJ Melody. I have been a member of that chat room now for over a month, and I will tell you, it's the best place to go for a shoulder to lean on, or just to hang out and chat with people who share similar disabilities. The people in there are absolutely fantastic, they're friendly, funny, kind, unique, and very fun!

I origonally came to Disabilities-R-Us to share my internet radio station with the members there. I thought I could make a small difference in their lives with music. I found not only did I achieve that, I've made friends, and an online family in the process. I too, have a disability. I'm legally blind due to Retinitus Pigmentosa. I've found that the support they give is unsurpassed by any other chat room I've visited (most of which were vacent).
